A control system is only as good as its sensors. To choose a sensor or find a fault, you need to know how it works inside. This course explains the common sensor types one by one.

The course has 17 lessons in four groups. You start with inductive, capacitive, and photoelectric sensors. Then you learn temperature sensors: RTDs, thermocouples, and thermistors. Next are pressure sensors, like piezoelectric, strain gauge, and capacitive types. The last group is level sensors: ultrasonic, radar, and float. Each group ends with a review and a quiz.
