When you know the basic bits and timers, the next step is to work with numbers. Real programs compare values, do math, and move data around. You need to know the PLC data types to do this right.
This is Level 3 of PLC Programming MADE EASY. It has 86 lessons. You start with comparators and PLC data types like integer, double integer, and real. You use them in examples like warehouse automation, a parking barrier, and an assembly line. Then you learn math functions, number systems, and BCD conversion. You also work with S7 counters. You test a part counting program in a 3D simulation. After that you learn the move instruction and shift and rotate instructions. The last part covers word logic, masking, and the XOR instruction.
This course is part of our PLC programming courses. With a RealPars membership, you get all levels of PLC Programming MADE EASY and all our other courses. When you finish, you get a certificate from RealPars.
