Why Enroll in This Course?

PLCnext is the PLC platform from Phoenix Contact. You program it in PLCnext Engineer. It is a good way to learn ladder logic on real hardware, because the starter kit is small and easy to set up.

This PLCnext course has 27 lessons. You unpack the starter kit and look at its IO modules. You install PLCnext Engineer and set the IP address of your computer. Then you start a project and configure the IO. Most of the course is about ladder logic. You create variables and link them to field devices. You use TON and TOF timers. At the end you download the project and run it. An optional part shows how to wire real field devices to the DI and DO modules.

This course is part of our PLC programming courses. With a RealPars membership, you get this ladder logic course and all our other courses. When you finish, you get a certificate from RealPars.
